The Mother's Day holiday, in the United States, celebrates motherhood
generally and the positive contributions of mothers to society. It falls on
the second Sunday of each May. It is the result of a campaign by Anna Marie
Jarvis (1864-1948), who, following the death of her mother on May 9, 1905,
devoted her life to establishing Mother's Day as a national, and later an
international, holiday.

Last Saturday,
Doralee Rae aka. Lady Pink got to live step one of a multi-step dream. She
always wears a pink cowboy hat in poker competition. In living the Secret, several months ago, she
decided to buy a dozen pink cowboy hats in a variety of sizes.......
I
was e-mailed the following hand by a student of mine who
understands poker well, but has only a moderate amount of
experience with no-limit hold'em. This is a fine
instructional hand, because the situation is fairly common
and the solution is a mathematical one that can be easily
applied to similar situations. My comments are interjected
throughout, as appropriate...

together to offer attendees of the upcoming USRA
Conference in Las Vegas the opportunity to work
directly with children in need. They are working
with a local elementary school that has
identified 800 at-risk children to receive a new
pair of shoes, courtesy of USRA and Soles4Souls.
Join them on Wednesday, May 6 at 7:30 am in the
lobby of the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa.
They will be taking a hotel shuttle to Ronzone
Elementary School and giving away a free pair of
Soles4Souls flip-flops to each child at the
school. The event will last from 8:30 until
9:30 am and should arrive back at the resort
no later than 10:30am.
