Sharon
began touring all over the world as a singer/ dancer with
American Entertainment Productions opening for acts such as
the Letterman, the Mandrell sisters, Willie Nelson, Loretta
Lynn and many more country acts.
Although
performing was Sharon’s dream, so was getting an education.
Sharon earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities and
Vocal Music from the
University of South
Florida and has her Master’s in Education from Chapman
University.
In 1990,
she continued to work her way through college by
singing/dancing at Busch Gardens theme park in Tampa,
Florida, while she also did commercial studio work for Sea
World and performed in musical theater.
Sharon’s career as a Barbra Streisand Impersonator/Tribute artist began in 1992, when Sharon moved to Los Angeles where she began singing Streisand in dinner theaters and cabaret night clubs. Her uncanny resemblance and vocal ability to sing Streisand, started her career as a Legends performer. With impersonator acts then as big as any productions you'll see on promotional pokerstars events today, it's easy to understand why Sharon's career picked up so fast.
Most
recently Sharon has turned to television where she was
crowned the winner of the hit TV show on Fox called
“Performing As…” Her national success has created a whirl
wind of Barbra fans waiting to see Sharon’s famous tribute.
Since her TV success, she has been seen on Access Hollywood,
Extra, Entertainment Tonight and even paid a visit to the
Family Fued.
Sebastian
Anzaldo is fast becoming one of the top “Sinatra”
interpreters in the country. In just a few short years, he
has honed his act to perfecting the essence of the musical
icon. With the voice, looks and mannerisms of ‘Ol Blue Eyes,
Sebastian has wowed audiences from coast to coast.
Originally
hailing from Omaha, Sebastian grew up in a musical family
(his father a sax player and later a talent agent, his
mother a singer). He started playing drums and singing at
age 11, and began his professional career working with bands
in bars and frat parties soon after that. After ten years
of playing in and around his hometown, including a
cross-country road stint for the Air Force, Sebastian’s
passion for jazz led him to New York, compliments of The
National Endowment For The Arts.
As the
need for a career change grew, the choice was obvious -
focus on the ‘Sinatra thing’. With a dedication to
perfecting the art of Frank, everything was in place and
Sebastian began doing one corporate event after another. As
word got out that there was a new ‘Chairman’ in town, he got
a call to star in ‘The Tribute To The Rat Pack’ currently
running at The Greek Isle. This in turn led to his current
show - headlining with Sharon Owens as Barbra Streisand in
the wonderful “Barbra & Frank, The Concert That Never
Was...”.
