World Series of Poker Update

I finally figured
it out...It's the atmosphere, or lack of, in the "Great Poker Room" that houses the WSOP. Spreading the WSOP's that have been held the last few years at the Rio, in their vast convention area compared to the cozy confines of the Horseshoe that played host to Benny Binion's brainchild in the ancient 1970s, is like comparing the Wright brothers constructing their first airplane in their bicycle shop, as opposed to the vast hangers that Boeing uses today to build their immense 700 series aircraft.
(Read the entire update here).

Watch for Frank's updates on the WSOP in his column
"On the Rail at the WSOP 2007" in the upcoming weeks.

Entertainment Las Vegas Style Receives Second 'Telly Award'

VCO would like to congratulate Entertainment Las Vegas Style and its host
Tony Sacca on receiving their second Telly Award.

The episode that received the 28th Telly Award included: Bodies...The Exhibition at the Tropicana Las Vegas. The exhibit is successfully being displayed at the Tropicana Events Center; Artist Peter Max, on location at the opening of his Art Gallery at the Forum Shops; Singer Dian Diaz in the Fontana Room at Bellagio, singing on stage with the musical water fountains in the background.

Las Vegas offers some of the greatest settings from around the world and each segment was a work of art within itself.

"I have not submitted any work since 2001 and surprisingly enough received the award at that time.
It is a very fulfilling experience," states Tony Sacca, host of the show since inception.
