Variety The Children's Charity of Southern Nevada is a passionate, caring organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for children with special needs in Southern Nevada.

Whether children are disabled, underprivileged, ill, abused, neglected or abandoned, it is Variety's creed that “every child has the opportunity to enjoy their right to a happy childhood.”

Variety’s current programs provide life saving medical equipment, adaptive mobility equipment and multi-passenger transportation vehicles to serve our community’s more physically challenged citizens. In addition, Variety is responsible for the construction, support and continuous renovations of the Variety School for Special Education (the first school to offer an education to people with mental disabilities) and the John F. Miller School (serving the more severely developmentally disabled,) both serving children with developmental disabilities.

Variety is also responsible for the construction, support and continuous renovations of the Variety Early Learning Center, formally known as the Variety Day Home. Since 1954, the Variety ELC has been provided affordable Day Care assistance to families with severe financial struggles.

Variety has, and will continue to operate under the belief that every child has a right to enjoy their childhood, and that every parent deserves a helping hand.
