As I sit here and think of fun, creative news to tell you, I am hit
with a different feeling, pride. When I remember all of the experiences
that we have shared and the friendships that we have made, I realize how
much the club has grown over the years. The Adventurers has become more
then just fun things to do and cool people to meet. Our club makes a
positive impact on everyone that comes into contact with us. I have seen
people that felt lost in Vegas, find a home. I have witnessed people
grow within themselves and blossom with confidence and independence. I
have watched how the members interact with each and been blown away by
how complete strangers meet, start to talk and end up developing long,
lasting relationships. No one sees color, race, sex or religion. They
just see other people who are doing their best to make it and have a
good life.
I ask you to take a minute and think about what being part of The
Adventurers means to you. I am proud to be a member of The Adventurers
and this feeling comes from each and everyone of you. After all, it is
our members that make our club, The Adventurers, more than just any old
club. Remember, it is not where you go but who you are with that makes
for a good time.
I look forward to our future and new adventures that we will experience
together.
