While
I would hardly call this place “a hole in the wall,” I will
admit you have to look for it to know it is there. But once
you go to Frediani’s, An Authentic Italian Restaurant, you
will go back again and again.
Located
in a strip mall on Green Valley Parkway, north of
Sunset,
behind the 24-Hour Fitness Center, Frediani’s offers true
Italian cuisine with some live entertainment
thrown
in to complete what a true meal should be – good food, great
service, wonderful company and ambiance.
Owned by
Maureen and Enrico Santarelli, these two are living the
American Dream after buying Frediani’s over one year ago.
According to Maureen Santarelli, she wanted, “to meet
people. I have never owned a restaurant before but I wanted
to try it out.”
Enrico
Santarelli is from Italy and, as he said, “We make sure we
prepare very original dishes with freshest ingredients. I
have wonderful trained chefs, and we try to make it family
style. We try to be affordable for everybody and family
friendly.”
The
cuisine is a combination of Northern and Southern Italy with
daily specials. Along with pizza, there are pasta dishes
with penne, linguine, ravioli, lasagna and tortellini and
entrees with chicken, shrimp, scampi, pork, salmon and that
standard, New York steak. The appetizers include antipasto,
calamari, mussels and steamers with soup of the day and
fresh salads including Caesar and crispy calamari salad.
Along with dining, there is a full bar and lounge.
As for
entertainment, Lance Posner, entertainment director, said,
“This is going to be the hottest in all of Vegas. We are
going to turn this place into the Ten Club inside Frediani’s.
It’s going to be one of the hippest social scenes. There
will be everything from entertainment to social parties to
business mixers to other events along with the best cuisine
in town.”
The hours
are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for lunch and 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Tuesday through Sunday for dinner.
