As one of the highest call volumes days throughout the year, the City of Henderson Fire Department urges residents to take precautions when celebrating Independence Day due to the dangers related with fireworks.
Only Safe and Sane Fireworks purchased from an authorized FPAN wholesaler and retailer are legal for possession, storage, or use from June 28 through July 4.
Adult supervision should always oversee the igniting of legal fireworks and ensure that fireworks can be extinguished quickly.
