Did you know that Phil Gramm, who crafted John McCain's economic policy, not only said that America is a nation of “whiners” in a “mental recession,” but that he orchestrated the deregulation of the banking industry that lead to today’s foreclosure problem?
Did you know that Gramm also helped push through a “stealthlike” bill to deregulate energy commodity trading leading up to the Enron scandal (New York Times, Jan. 17, 2002)
Did you know that John McCain once said that economic policy is “not my strong suit”?
