DAY 2 SUPER BOWL 42: MS. NEVADA LUNACY, MEDIA D-BAGS & THE WORST HOTEL IN PHOENIX

It took just a 1 1/2 days for the ESPN920 teams to form.

Mitch Moss and Dug Dugless are no longer hanging with Cofield and Paulie. After a day of shows, Sunshine and Howard went to dinner near Tempe while Doug & Mitch went to the dog track!!! That’s right the dog track. At least that’s where they said they were going. Getting the truth out of The Last Men Standing has been difficult.

The rift began over the accomodations. ESPN920’s director of travel is hearing it from Paulie.

The Travelers Inn, too put it mildly, is a shithole. What’s constitute’s a dump?

1. Non-flushing toilet

2. Heavily prostituted area (words of Phoenix cop who pull over Cofield-mobile)

3. Meth addict “living” next door

4. No wake up call services

5. TV with unwatchable ESPN

6. No iron or ironing board

7. Not good enough to house Ms. Nevada (Moss/Dug lied about where ESP920 producer Veronica was staying). She’s across town in a 4-star hotel

MS. NEVADA IS NOT HOOKING UP WITH YOU!!!! 

The hotel is source No. 1 of the rift, the battle for Ms. Nevada has things reaching Cold War levels.

The crew got several listener emails claiming that it was sickening to listen to the guys trying to “hit” on Ms. Nevada on Monday’s show. Cofield had no idea what the listeners were talking about.

Apparently, Mitch and Paul are legitimately shooting for the 23-year hottie. Moss launched into an explosion on Howard around 5p Tuesday, “You’re not a team player. You know I’m in with her. Her Dad likes me. You’re all over her!!!”

Somehow it doesn’t seem realistic for either of these clowns.

Mitch’s silent approach won’t work. Nor will Paulie’s bug-eyed staring straight at her rack approach be success. She’s got waves of men to choose from. Day One at radio row was highlighted by Adrian Peterson giving her his email address. And we’re guessing all the 1,786 football players, celebrities and rich dudes in town for the game have a leg up too.   

WHEN WILL THE SPORTSRADIO GUYS GET IT? SAL PAL IS STILL A STIFF

Dozens of Vegas listeners are needed in the media center to help punch radio guys right in the face. Every year, Tuesday’s Super Bowl Media Day is filled with stunts and costumes. You’re living under a rock or way too serious if you’re still getting mad because you can’t get your stupid f**kin question in about the last Pats-Giants matchup or Tom Brady’s ankle.

ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio is one of those media douchebags who gets angry at the bevy of hot chicks doing feature pieces out at media day. Sal felt, country music star and Tonight Show correspondent, Kellie Pickler was c**k blocking him from his favorite Patriots.

I found it fairly amusing when she approached ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio, who looked like he was about as interested in talking to her as he was in getting a root canal. Paolantonio was one of the few members of the media who treated media day as though it was an opportunity to do some actual work, and he refused to talk to Pickler when she tried to ask him about having media credentials. Instead, Paolantonio pointed to Philadelphia Inquirer reporter Bob Ford and said, “Bob will play along.” He did.

Sal’s got 364 days access to these players and coaches. Can we give Pickler, one g-damn day?!?!

MISS NEVADA TELLS DALLAS REPORTER TO BUZZ OFF AND IS PROPOSITIONED BY NFL PLAYER

Mitch Moss, the Lotus Broadcasting strongman, is a genius. After watching San Diego’s Mighty 1090 use a  hot female producer to fetch every good guest at last year’s Super Bowl, Moss called in the big guns. 

“The Polish Hammer” Veronica Grabowski (Miss Nevada USA) is ESPN920’s producer in Phoenix.

Who is hotter? Veronica or XX’s Marty Caswell?

The Ticket in Dallas has a funny feature each year on Radio Row. They’re roving reporter can come with some good moments. Unfortunately, Corby Davidson, wasn’t witty enough so the Hammer told him to hit the bricks. He appeared stunned….

Miss Nevada was hit on by several current and former players. She asked NFL Rookie of the Year Adrian Peterson for an interview, instead she got an email. It looks like he wants to chat while in Phoenix.
