Conquest By Pricing

"What can you do? You need gas," said Barry M, a construction worker who stopped his van at a gas station on one recent morning to add $15 worth.  "If you don't have gas, you can't get to work. And if you can't get to work, you don't get paid. And if you don't get paid, you can't buy food. We're at their mercy."

Yet, we rejoice.  To wit, I received the following:

"The gas price dropped to under $4.00, it’s at $3.97 a gallon today.
*happy dance*"

 

The following are the step-by-step points that describe the exact pricing scam plan of the entire oil industry:

 

1) Steadily and incrementally raise the price of the "vilest commodity on earth" (my term) that eventually bulges into unaffordable astronomical levels until the hostage-held consumers necessarily have to resist or at least plea for help.

 

2) Then begin to roll back the price until Mr. and Mrs. Consumer begin to cheer, such as witnessed by the above exclamation of relief as though salvation has fallen upon and graced us.

 

3) Then "stabilize" the price of the commodity at a price point that settles in at consumer-acceptable and, for the oil industry, extremely profitable three to four hundred percent price increases. 

 

What a (legitimate) racket!  Who cares if it ruins an entire nation's economy?  There are always international safe havens for the filthy swine perpetrators to abscond to with their pirated wealth.

 

Boone Pickens is right: This is the highest amount of a transfer of a nation's transfer of wealth in the history of the world.  The only exception has been when nations have been conquered by war.  The United States of America has been hijacked, pirated and conquered (call it anything you want) by a commodity pricing scam.  This is also unique in the history of the world: Conquest By Pricing.

The Solution:

 

Re: The Middle East Enigma/Conundrum/Quandary/Quagmire- Also call it what you want.  I offer the following most obvious and sensible solution:

 

Bring our nation to complete energy independence and get the hell out of the Middle East 100% entirely.  And, damn it, DO IT NOW.  There would then be no reason nor excuse to use the United States as either the punching bag for crazed zealots, nor the "Military Department" branch of the New World Order.

 

We shall not be used!  Not as a nation; not as a people; not with our hard-earned tax dollars; not by world-conquest planners; not on religious grounds; not for any damn reason or for anyone shall we be further used!

 

(I use the word, damn, appropriately, as the situation is indeed damned.)

 

As far as I am concerned, I repeat a previous statement: Develop oil/energy alternatives worldwide and let the Arab nations manufacture and distribute sandboxes and hourglasses, and package and export camel dung.

 

I am REALLY sick of it and won't take it anymore.  And I am ready, willing and able to stand on the tank.  Because, clearly, that is what it's going to take.
